What a wonderful service. Everything was fully explained, my pain was made more tolerable and eventually disappeared and aftercare was superb.
I was very happy that I could be seen on 18 May, a week previous to going on holiday as I was again experiencing some difficulty with the thumb on my right hand. I had both hands injected firstly on 16 February the left being the most successful, the right was improved for a time. I did not need the left hand injected on 18 May, just the right and this has been more successful to date this time, hopefully for a longer period. I am right handed so, of course, it gets more use!
I felt a lot better going to the Rheumatology Clinic than just going to the GP's surgery, I felt that they understood my problems a lot better, when I go to the doctors they just give you pills and don't explain anything to you were as the staff that I saw at the clinic explained everything.
This appointment should have been at TROH for joint injections however Anne Browne attended me at which I was extremely satisfied. Wish I could do same next time. Thank you Anne.
From GP referral to appointment day took 3 weeks, couldn't be better. Thanks.
Now that there is a new practice in place of not needing to go through GPs it will make things even better. May I just add that Dr Nye is a wonderful understanding doctor.
Although I was completely satisfied with everything at Hopwood House I am also with Mr Dave Carter the physio of High Street Lees.

What can I say? I was listened to, my examination was thorough, my treatment was ordered and carried out. I was very pleased to receive a letter making another appointment at Hopwood House to the Rheumatology Clinic - the staff, the doctors, the whole thing excellent.
Anne Browne was extremely helpful. At first appointment I was prescribed with anti-inflammatory tablets and sent for x-ray, so I presume this has speeded up the whole process.
