We offer a full range of Musculoskeletal services for patients with orthopaedic, rheumatology or chronic pain conditions.
All patients are electronically triaged within 24hrs of reciept of referral to the most appropriate clinician.
There are 3 GPwSIs and 1 Consultant nurse who see patients initially when the diagnosis or specific needs of the patient requires further assessment.
Specialist Physiotherapy
We have extended scope practitioners who each have there own specialism and all are able to perform joint injection therapy if required. The specialisms
are lower limb, cervical spine, upper limb and hands. We also employ a Consultant Physiotherapist who has very specific exlertise in spinal problems.
Specialist Podiatry
We have 4 specialist podiatrists who offer a range of services including orthotics, gait analysis, injection therapy, ultra sound and nail surgery.
Specialist Occupational Therapy
An extended scope therapist provides injection therapy and bespoke splinting for patients with hand problems.
Chronic Pain Service
We have access to a Consultant Psychiatrist, a Psychiatric nurse and specialist physio who manage a chronic pain service and see and treat any patient
whos physical illness is causing psychological distress. It is envisaged that this will become an integral part of the service within the next 6 months.
We have a range of Consultant surgeons who do sessional work within the service which enables direct listing onto a theatre list for surgery with a
maximum of 4 weeks.

We also have a Consultant Rheumatologist and Specialist Registrar who work on a sessional basis to provide clinical lead and advice in regard to patinets with inflammatory arthropathies and connective tissue disease.
